OFFICE AND ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS

 

(40 hrs) Admission Specialist: Responsible for making clinical and financial decisions of admissions for Manatee Glens Addiction Center, Outpatient Detox, Intensive Outpatient Program and Manatee Glens Hospital for private pay individuals in partnership with program managers.  Will provide clinical assessment and financial investigation of persons requesting planned admissions; often completed via phone contact.  Individual will meet with private pay individuals in Manatee Glens Hospital/Crisis Center and Inpatient Detox to evaluate for admission to Manatee Glens Addiction Center, Outpatient Detox Program and Intensive Outpatient Program.   Individual will work with the Access Center staff to assist with clinical evaluation and financial investigation for private pay persons who present as a walk in.  Person will coordinate bed management on Addiction Center and initiate Avatar pre admission episode information for all admissions facilitated.  Conduct facility tours, welcoming patients and families utilizing customer service skills learned through internal and external training.  Provide assistance with travel and transportation as needed.  Individual will be on call one weekend a month to facilitate planned admissions. Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or Business and minimum of 1 year experience working in health care preferred, relevant experience in mental health and substance abuse can be substituted. Must be self starter, ability to work in team atmosphere, have good organizational and customer service skills as well as be able to work a flexible schedule. 

#1022 (40 hrs) Application Support Specialist: Responsible for updating service support documentation as well as conducting training sessions for the service desk team and Manatee Glens users. For IT configuration changes the Application Support Specialist will conduct module and integration testing. Requires a two-year degree and 2-3 years experience with clinical systems application support or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with new system implementation, including technical training of end users is desirable.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Crystal Reports, Document management Software and other Business Line software is highly desired. Skillful and flexible at managing change. Good problem solving skills. Time management and prioritization skills are needed on a daily basis. Critical thinking skills needed. Training presentation techniques and skills necessary.

#792 (40 hrs) Secretary Specialist: Answers the telephone, greets and directs visitors, provides information and referrals to agency and community services as appropriate.  Position will also provide clerical support, involving some typing, filing and mail preparation for the Human Resources department.  High school diploma or equivalent required. Outstanding customer service, communication and multi-tasking and excellent organizational skills required.  Previous receptionist experience preferred.  Multi-line phone system experience strongly preferred.
