#206 Child Psychiatrist: Board certified (or eligible) to work with both inpatient/outpatient clients. Must be FL licensed and able to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary, team environment. Full-time position. Spanish speaking a plus. Designated area of need for loan repayment and other waiver programs. . J-1 Visa candidates are welcome to apply.

Psychiatric PA: Works with a psychiatrist in our inpatient and outpatient practice for both addiction and mental health treatment; providing a variety of services. Requires current licensure to practice as a PA in Florida. Also requires Master’s degree in a clinical area or graduate of an accredited Psychiatric PA program. New graduates will be considered with psychiatric experience. Hours are M-F, 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities Include:  

Evaluating referred clients for pharmacotherapy and providing prescriptions for medication within established protocols

Reviewing and signing tentative treatment plans, formal treatment plan reviews and other documents for assigned clients

Initiating Baker Act involuntary treatment documents and facilitating admission to an appropriate inpatient facility when indicated

Conducting psychiatric disability determination evaluations and preparing required reports

Providing consulting to staff regarding client diagnosis and treatment, treatment program development, referral options and other similar topics

Participating in treatment team meetings to help evaluate clients

Performing and documenting AIMS evaluations

Reviewing medical history and physical exam and diagnostic testing reports and referring clients for following update medical care when indicated

Consulting with other physicians when needed to facilitate effective client care

#431 (40 hrs) Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner: Delivers advanced nursing and specified medical services to clients under the supervision of a physician.  The ARNP is responsible to the physician(s) for referring critically ill/medically complex clients or those whose complaint is not within the area of the competence to a specialist, surgeon or physician. RN with Master’s Degree in clinical area or completion of specialized ARNP training program recognized by the Board of Nursing required. Previous documented experience in providing services listed and experience with children and adolescents preferred.
