CLINICAL POSITIONS Generally Requires a Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field. Manatee Glens East - Addiction Program No openings at this time. Outpatient Mental Health/Substance Abuse Programs #851 (40 hrs) Child & Family Therapist: Work as a member of a collaborative treatment team to provide screening, assessment & treatment (including individual, group & family) to treat children ages 0-18. Requires licensure in a related field. Must have experience working with children and adolescents with mental health or substance abuse issues. #691 (40 hrs) Alpha Counselor: Provides individual and group counseling and basic case management to children in the school environment. Work schedule will coincide with school calendar, equates to .8 over one year period of time. Requires Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Community Counseling or related field. Knowledge of community resources and experience in mental health setting preferred. Highly motivated, self-directed, and good time management skills. Excellent team building and communication skills a must. #883 (40 hrs) Early Intervention Specialist: Provides individual and group intervention services to youth at risk or struggling with substance abuse issues. Provides screening, assessments and referrals. Works collaboratively with parents, teachers, principals and other school personnel in determining risk and providing protection against alcohol and drug issues. Requires Bachelor’s degree in a social services related field. Teaching skills considered a plus, but not required. Should have strong interpersonal skills and be a creative team player. Requires valid Florida Driver’s License with safe driving record as some in town driving may be required. Will be located on-site at a local elementary school. Hours will be M-F 8:00am to 5:00pm. #1032 (40hrs) Registered Intern: Provides clinical services to adults in specialized program, including individual, group and family counseling, diagnostic assessment, referrals and follow up to clients and/or families. Master’s degree in Counseling or related field. Eligible or Current Registered Intern. Intensive Outpatient Treatment Team Provides community based care to adults with severe and persistent Mental Helath and/or Co-occurring disorders. No openings at this time.
Manatee Glens Walk-In Center Provides crisis intervention, immediate assessment, referral and short term counseling to those in need of mental health and/or substance abuse services. No openings at this time. Children’s Community Action Treatment Team (CAT) No openings at this time.
Florida Assertive Community Treatment Team (FACT) Provides comprehensive community treatment, rehabilitation and support services to ndividuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses.
#619 (40 hrs) Case Manager- FACT: Licensed eligible therapist (registered intern), experience working with clients with severe and persistent mental illness preferred valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required. Energetic, self motivated, professional dedicated to providing quality services in the community in conjunction with a multi-disciplinary team of mental health professionals. LCSW/LMHC/LMFT a plus.
Inpatient Programs
No openings at this time. Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse: Provide variety of nursing care services to clients. Requires current Florida License with psychiatric experience.

Behavioral Health Technician: Provide assistance, supervision and coordination of therapeutic activities related to the daily living skills of clients. Requires High School diploma or equivalent with one year experience in a mental health setting (college courses may be substituted for experience).

Child Welfare Positions Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, or closely related field
#297 (40 hrs) Supervisor – Child Welfare: Provides supervision and coordination of Family Care Coordinators as well as all other staff supporting child and family welfare. Requires either a Bachelor’s Degree in social work or a related field and a minimum of four years of experience in child welfare services, or a Master’s degree in social work or a related field and two years experience. Supervisory and program management skills preferred. Valid FL Driver’s license and safe driving record also required. #857, 365 (40 hrs) Family Care Coordinator: Provide case management services for children ages 6-23 in Child Welfare. Requires Bachelors degree in Psychology, Social Work or related degree and one year’s child welfare case management experience is preferred. Also requires valid FL driver’s license and safe driving record.
