CLINICAL POSITIONS Generally Requires a Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field. Manatee Glens East - Addiction Program #783 (40 hrs) Licensed Therapist- Manatee Glens East Addictions: Provides intensive outpatient screening, assessment, and treatment (including individual and group therapy) to adults with substance abuse and/ or co-occurring mental health issues. Requires a Master’s degree in social services or a related field and current Florida licensure (LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW) per FS 491. Also requires experience in treating adults with addiction disorders. #716 (40 hrs) Counselor: Work as a member of a collaborative team to provide screening, assessment and treatment (including individual, group & family) to treat children w/mental health or co-occurring issues. Requires Master’s degree in social services field or related field. Licensed or Registered Intern preferred. Must have experience working w/children and Adolescents. #855 (40 hrs) Therapist: Masters level therapist with substance abuse experience to provide screenings, assessments, intakes, individual and group counseling to consumers involved with the Manatee County DUI Court Program. Candidate must also coordinate activities that help build a close collaborative relationship between criminal justice and drug treatment professionals. Some evenings required. #416 (40 hrs) Counselor: Children and Family – Work as a member of a collaborative team to provide screening, assessment and treatment (including individual, group & family) to treat children 0-18 with mental health and/or substance abuse issues. Requires a Master’s degree in social services or related field. Licensed or registered Intern preferred. Must have experience working with children & adolescents. #468 (20 hrs) Counselor: Provides individual, group and family therapy/counseling and psycho-educational groups to clients/patients. Position requires Masters Degree in psychology or related field, excellent communications skills & previous clinical therapy experience with co-occurring disorders, such as chronic mental illness and substance abuse. #622 (40 hrs) Case Management and Group Facilitator - Group facilitator: Manage groups focused on mental health and co-occurring recovery issues. Ability to engage and communicate with clients to foster education of topics presented and maintain group census. Working knowledge of recovery issues and community resources preferred. Case Management: Ability to develop supportive relationships with persons experiencing severe and persistent mental illness and/or co-occurring issues involved in recovery. Responsibilities include but are not limited to case management, psychosocial rehabilitation, advocating and linking clients to internal and external resources. Strong customer services and communication skills, detailed oriented, multi-tasker, comfortable leading groups, computer skills required (outlook, excel, word) training on electronic health record required. BA/BS degree in human services field. One year’s experience in mental health setting required.
Intensive Outpatient Treatment Team Provides community based care to adults with severe and persistent Mental Helath and/or Co-occurring disorders. #863 (40 hrs) IOT Team Leader: Manages all aspects of the program including supervision of clinical and support staff while functioning as an active clinical team member. Responsible for monitoring each client’s clinical status and maintaining high quality client care. Program services are provided in the community. Prefer current FL licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) or Registered Intern actively pursuing licensure. Will consider extensive experience in lieu of education/licensure. Must have management or supervisory experience as well as experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness or co-occurring disorders. Valid FL Driver’s License with safe driving record also required. Program hours are 8:00am to 8:00pm M-F and 8:00am to 5:00pm Sat & Sun. Individual schedules include weekend, evening and rotating on-call hours.
Manatee Glens Walk-In Center Provides crisis intervention, immediate assessment, referral and short term counseling to those in need of mental health and/or substance abuse services. #303 (40 hrs) Counselor: Walk-In Center: MA degree Counselor needed to complete assessments on walk in persons, both adult and child. Knowledge of community referrals & ability to perform short-term therapy required. Position also requires on-call, one time a month for our mobile crisis unit to access persons at risk in the community with mental health issues. Hours are Monday through Friday 11:30am to 8:00pm. Children’s Community Action Treatment Team (CAT) No openings at this time. Florida Assertive Community Treatment Team (FACT) No openings at this time.
Inpatient Programs
#291 (32 hrs) Care Manager – Access Center: Provides screening, assessment, and referral services for both adult and youth clients. Requires Bachelor’s degree in a social services related field and excellent communication, customer service, de-escalation and computer skill and knowledge of mental health and addictions services.
Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse: Provide variety of nursing care services to clients. Requires current Florida License with psychiatric experience.

Behavioral Health Technician: Provide assistance, supervision and coordination of therapeutic activities related to the daily living skills of clients. Requires High School diploma or equivalent with one year experience in a mental health setting (college courses may be substituted for experience).
